Beginner Smocking
-
Susan Misluk
-
THIS CLASS IS FULL (an additional class is a possibility)
Susan is joining us once again to teach us her smocking techniques. This is for the beginner only (or someone wanting to refresh their memory).
Starting with the pleater and pleating, we will then move on to blocking and stitching. The stitches will be easy enough for the novice and tempting enough for the intermediate. By the end of class you will have made a great ornament! This class is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and includes a light lunch.
If you couldn’t get into this class and are very interested in learning how to smock, I’m sure we can convince Susan to put on another class.

Everyone is still smiling!
We are all hoping she will come back to us next year. We asked if she would teach us her new “Zippity-Do-Da Rainy Day Coat”. I will certainly keep you posted. -
What a fabulous two days we had with Kari!
The projects were so very precious. We learned so much. Rick rack flowers and Whimsy Sticks will never frighten us again! -
Look what Kari convinced me to do! I took the books that I use often and had them spiral bound at Staples for $4.99 each! The best money I ever spent.

There will be two versions of this outfit offered for this workshop. One dressy and one casual. This is the dressy. -
