Gail Doane
-
GAIL DOANE will be joining us again on November 2, 3 & 4, 2012.
We are more than excited about Gail coming to teach us once again. Gail lives just outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her work began appearing in Creative Needle and Sew Beautiful magazines in the early 1990’s. Her first project published in Australian Smocking and Embroidery was in 2002. She has a good eye and great appreciation for quality fabrics. Gail brings to the classroom 25 years of hands-on, real life experience, dressing seven children, and now an ever expanding crew of grandchildren in beautiful heirloom clothing.
There will be two versions of this outfit offered for this workshop. One dressy and one casual. This is the dressy. -
Jacket – is silk brocade, lined, with covered buttons.
-
Petal Pink silk dupioni dress with exquisite smocked front, beaded smocking and beaded embellishment on the piped sleeves.
